    We were assigned a room directly next to a renovation zone. Next morning 7.30am we were woken up by drilling into our room wall. When I wrote a message to complain, we got a call from the hotel after we had gone out for the day, offering us a change of room for the following night. I specified that we would only be back after dinner, and would move our belongings at that time, and the staff member agreed that this was okay. I would have been satisfied with that, but when we returned to the hotel that evening and asked for the key to the new room, the receptionist held up the key, then pulled it back out of my reach, saying "Your room had your stuff in it. It was dirty. This is not okay." As if she had expected us to check out on time with the room in perfect condition, to rectify THEIR mistake. This is a completely unacceptable level of service for a hotel that costs €150 per night (without breakfast!). In the first place it is a total scam to book out a room basically within the construction zone (see photo) for the full price, and without a single mention or explanation to the guests. To then be reprimanded like a child in the course of accepting their apology and compensation, is beyond the pale. To add the cherry on top, the shower controls for both rooms were faulty (water would drip out of the overhead outlet even when it should be directed to the shower head) and the towels were threadbare and one had a hole in it. Altogether, a memorable and exceptional stay that we won't be repeating.

    I'm not actually staying here, nor have I stayed here. I am in town for business and while I'm at another hotel my coworker is staying here. All I can get at my hotel is wine or beer. Here at the Pentahotel Rostock the bar is open - they have a great sipping rum, decent selection of single malts, some Irish selections too. What more do you want, an open bar during COVID. yup 5 stars

    High standards on cleaning? No, the room was dirty and stains together with grease marks on windows was left. I have no idea if the remote control was even cleaned… yet they claim to have the upmost perfect cleaning standards. The staff are nice and helpful. Very friendly. Breakfast was great and I could’ve eaten for hrs:)

    To be honest, I was really disappointed with the cleaning. On the window there were hand prints left from the previous guests along with pee on left on the toilet seat. I was chocked regarding that especially since the hotel is covered with posts regarding how they keep high standards when it comes to cleaning…. Luckily, this can be fixed! On a second note, the hotel staff is amazing, so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is practically a reason alone to visit the hotel. Really really good breakfast with loads of options - I was Super pleased with the breakfast. Make sure to fix the cleaning.

    I stayed in penta for 49days, simply awesome. You can easily access many shops there. Rooms are so comfort. I miss you penta!!
