    I highly recommend visiting this mansion which was once owned by a mercenary and then later passed on to the Solothurn City Council. All the furniture, flooring, windows, portraits are preserved as is since the 1700's. Very friendly staff, took their time to guide us through in English and the entire visit is free of charge. Definitely worth the visit.
