    If you are looking for a nice place with genuinely friendly service and great choice then this is the place! They also cater for parties & you can order great Italian food and gelato to take away. Happy I found it!

    Zurich food festival 11th September we sampled most the flavours on offer it is By far some of the best ice cream i have ever tasted ! the kiwi and mango were both amazing but the nut flavours are out of this world good. very good prices.

    My husband and I first had lunch at Mama Rosi in Aug 2015 because we wanted to sample the cupcakes before placing an order for our son's birthday party. I ordered the vegetarian focaccia sandwich and honestly have never enjoyed a sandwich as much as I enjoyed that one (and the ones I have had since). Everything in the sandwich was/is just so fresh, which was/is reflected in the incredible taste. We then sampled a cupcake and were so happy to find a place baking cupcakes/cakes that fulfilled our wishes (we come from the US so had been looking for a place selling cakes close to what we enjoy at home). So we ordered our cupcakes and then also ordered some of the beer and sodas they specifically sourced and sell, which were also SO GOOD! Since our 1st visit we continue to really enjoy eating at Mama Rosi (just had a focaccia sandwich today that was excellent as always...although I know I should try some of the other food on offer). Today we also placed an order for our 4th birthday cake. We will only go to Mama Rosi because the cakes created by Patrizia always exceed our expectations and, on top of it, not only are they wonderful to look at but they are equally tasty. We also enjoy eating Humphrey's gelato, including his vegan gelato (I highly recommend the pistachio). I cannot recommend the place enough. Everything is made using the best/freshest ingredients and no short cuts are taken, which you would expect to be so expensive (especially in Switzerland) but the prices are an INCREDIBLE value. And to top it off, the owners are just the nicest and most helpful people.
