    Cosy cafe serving the traditional Zuger Kirschtorte but also scones with clotted cream. Interesting variety of whiskeys on display.

    What happened to Meier's famous Zugerkirschtorte ??? The cake can almost not be cut because the Japonais lid and the Japonais base are very hard. 1cm of powdered sugar on the lid and the cake is coated with two centimeters of buttercream on the edge. The cherry sugar water runs out of the box !!! I'm speechless ....

    I was recommended as the best original Zuger Kirschtorte. With local cherry, from the Conditor. Said, done ... fright! The cake has palm fat in it! Palm fat! In a traditional Swiss specialty, which I buy extra at the pastry shop, not cheap in the supermarket. That does not work - never more!
