Located within an old industrial complex, this history museum highlights humans living around Zug just after the ice age and up to the romans. It's a rather small place, but you can see the love for details. Highly recommended. Note: Not sure if they offer English texts / guides.
not so big, but very intresting
It's got a great collection, but unfortunately they don't have any English guides. Still, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Not too crowded.
Really nice museum for kids with a lot of hands on activities. They could make masks, touche a lot of the objects like bones and learn a lot by hands on activities in a fun way. Like the mammoth exhibition in which you could explore caves with lights, make your own necklet with a sea shell, learn about the animals of the time by throwing ping pong balls at them and all about the plant by filling your sticker book. A lot of fun for the kids and interesting and educational at the same time.
Small museum, suitable for children. It's free on Sundays.
