Small and cute. I was there 2 hours with my daughter. There is a playroom on the top floor.
Small sized, but clean, tidy, and organized. However, the content wasn't well-narrated and they could do better by focusing deeper on a historical niche.
This was such a fun museum to go through. They had many hands on activities for children to do from smelling spices and guessing what they were to trying on chain mail armor. The children were given a booklet to help guide us through the museum that matched icons in the room so they could flip through and find the card to read. The information displayed wasn't in English, but the booklet given to the children was so we were easily able to figure out what was on display. You did need to check your bag in a locker.
Nothing very special.
Nice place if you want to see the whole history of Zug.
