    Al-Hasahisa is a city located in the state of Gezira in central Sudan on the western bank of the Blue Nile River at an altitude of 401 meters (1316 feet) above sea level, and it is about 121 kilometers (75 miles) away from Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, towards the southwest, and from the city of Wadi Medani, the state's capital 46 One kilometer (28 miles) approximately, and it faces the city of Rafa'ah on the eastern bank of the river.
