    Super fun little airstrip. Used to have an in with the local "air force". The first and only time I've ever flown an airplane was out of here. Its exciting to see how close you are to Palm Springs and mountains like San Jacinto. They provide an incredible backdrop in an otherwise bleak landscape. Eyes on the horizon!

    Since this airport is small there’s not much draw here unless you like airplanes. Because this airport is small, it comes with the small town feel, friendly neighbors and quiet most of the time. Please remember that this is an airport with private houses right up against it. Please respect private property and how dangerous an airport can be.     I enjoy watching small aircrafts land and take off from here. It's a very old airfield, but it has an interesting history. It's pretty much still in original and unrestored condition.
