Always come here for at least 1 meal when in town. As usual is was great! My favorite is the waffles and chicken. They are always delicious! Nice sitting outside listening to nearby live music. Hopefully Main street stays this way a bit longer!

Beer was delicious. Food was unfortunately not very good. Sandwich was pathetic yet marketed as overloaded with cheese. Cobb salad was rather bland. The dressing was good, however the beans and corn were poor quality. Pizza was ok. We did enjoy the atmosphere though!

Great service and nice atmosphere. The food was marginal at best. Burned and greasy onion rings, a burger so greasy that even the roll itself was greasy. It was dripping down my arms, topped with ice cold caramelized onions that seemed to have been made previously a left in the fridge. The fries were tiny and clearly pre-frozen, and over cooked in a deep fryer that doesn’t seem to have been cleaned or set to the proper temp, leaving everything just dripping with grease. My partner had fish tacos. Good sized portions, but each taco started with a pile of cabbage. Not cold slaw, just raw cabbage. On top of that was a single tiny slice of an avocado, and then a large over cooked, grease laden fish portion. I’ve been in the restaurant business for years and can tell you that these were just frozen chunks of fish, likely haddock or pollack that were taken from the freezer and tossed in a deep fryer. Not an unheard of way to make a fish taco, but again the fryer wasn’t cleaned or set properly. A properly deep fried piece of fish is light, crispy, never greasy, and flakes apart as you eat it. Honestly these chunks of what were advertised as “Icelandic cod” tasted no different that the onion rings. We live in the fresh fish capital of the west coast. The restaurant sits a mile from Ventura fishing harbor. Why they would be resorting to “Icelandic cod,” aka boxes of fish that had been frozen for a month, is beyond me. Again, great service, and the food wasn’t “bad” to eat. But between the three of us, with no alcohol, we spent $100 on lunch. It’s not an inexpensive meal and based on price we would have been far better off at In and Out Burger for $15, or spending $120 and eating at the steak house up the street.

Good local brews. Good food too. Shepherd's pie was tasty and filling.
