I went to school here almost 6 years ago for K-4. This school is amazing and I highly reccomend it to anybody thinking about coming here. The teachers here are amazing.
No parking or safe drop off spots. A lot of weirdos living in the area. The education system itself is poorly executed. School staff including the Principal are rude and arrogant when it comes to voicing parent/teacher/school/safety concerns.
I was shocked to see how well the staff and parents work together, especially trying to keep programs alive durring this recession and with all the budget cuts. There has been many fundraisers that are not the same ol ones from my childhood that no one really wanted to participate in, but they are fun and help everryone invloved. As for the education, I really like the teachers so far. I have no complaints. My daughter comes home with lots of homework and she (1st grade) is required to read 20 minutes per day. As a busy single parent it is time consuming but I believe it enriches her education and study habits. I wish other schools were so dedicated th their students success. -Audra
