Love the staff at this Islands! Super attentive and very kind. Happy Hour is amazing here with $5 martinis and $4 wells. New Amsterdam is the well which is doable if you want to save some money. Also, you can't beat their truffle fries, only about 4.99 even when its not HH.
Words can't describe.... There were a good amt of people there, so 1 star and 1 star for the good chocolate Shake... But the food was terrible.. Bread buns looked like they came from an old pack of hamburger buns Fries were refried and the truffle was only in the center Honey mustard was white in color. WHITE! Both honey any mustard have color 🤷🏽♀️ Let's not even start on the nachos
The food was ok, especially compared to typical LA cuisine. My favorite food is burgers and fries and LA has some amazing spots but this place is on the same level as a Red Robins or Chili's. However.... The service was excellent! Everyone was super nice and helpful. Our server Tieler was very nice and professional. The good service might tempt me back one day.
When we first arrived I put my name on the waiting list and I made a mistake by saying 6 people total when we were 7. We were 4 adults and 3 children. At first they told me they were going to have to separate us because it's a max of 6 people but then they asked the manager and they said it was okay to sit together. My sister forgot her ID at home but she had a picture on her phone. She wanted to get a beer but they told her they needed the ID to be there. I think that was unnecessary because she had a picture clearly showing she's over 21 and they didn't accept it. We ordered some chips and guacamole, burger's, tenders for the kiddos, and some spicy buffalo wings. We had a few different servers and none gave us their name. We had to keep asking for things and none of them were attentive to our needs. They all seemed rushed and not focused. The fries we were served were very hard and not full French fries, they were bits and pieces and stale. The burger's were okay, the wings were crispy but not enough buffalo sauce, the tenders were all right. As for the food in general I think it's passable but the service was not great and didn't meet our standards.
The service was outstanding ! The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because my fries were not hot. Had a Malibu burger & Ghost pepper fries, ( love the ghost pepper seasoning) My margarita was in a mug & twice the size of most restaurants. I’ll be back again :)
