    I really enjoyed my stay at the Volcano Eco Treehouse. John and his family made me feel very welcome and looked after me during my 3 day stay. The treehouse itself is a memorable stay - high in the branches with a view across to the volcano which you can see smoking during the day and which lights up the sky above it with a red glow. This is a true getaway, there's no shops or anything so make sure you bring any creature comforts or snacks and treats. Advisable to bring a metal container to keep the critters away from your food, it is up in a tree in the jungle after all! John will organise to pick you up at the airport and also with some local tours and sites. I did enjoy spending some time with Tony, one of the local guys on a chicken hunt in the forest. I'd definitely recommend this stay if you are looking for something a bit different!
