    Beautiful location with beautiful people. The snorkeling is great but the food is local and basic. Cold beer available

    This place gets a five star because of the amazing reef in front of it. This marine reserve has been protected for years and is great for snorkeling. We saw turtles, napoleon, schools of jacks and blacktip reef sharks among many other species. The best snorkeling we had in our two week travel around Malekula. Jacinta is a lovely and very attentive host. She cooked big tasty meals and shared loads of interesting local stories with us. We very much enjoyed her company. Accommodation is basic and rustic, as it tends to be around here. The grounds are beautifully decorated and overall it is very relaxing. Highly recommended if you are traveling in Malekula and are interested in marine life.
