The St. Francis' Chapel is an Anglican (Episcopal) Church situated in the Barnes Hill Village Next to the New Winthorpes Primary School and having a quite scenic hilltop view of AUA Medical School, Long Island and the surrounding areas. The church shares location with the St. George's Rectory and has served the Anglican Community for years, the loud chimes of the church bells can be heard from great distances. The Historic Church Building is slightly off the beaten path and one has to look for it a bit or rather be going there specifically. The lovingly maintained building and grounds are still functioning and will continue to play a pivotal role in the area and beyond. Parking and access to the facilities is quite convenient and hassle-free. This Chapel is definitely worth a visit and as the aesthetics, views and ambiance are all quite appealing.
