I think the bakery probably has really delicious things but the sandwich is not one of them. It was the first sandwich on the board and even though it mentions cheese in the ingredients somehow the cheese added cost and it ended up being $7usd which felt overpriced for what it was. Something about it didn’t sit right in my stomach and I was sick on the beach a half hour later. If you go I’d probably stick with something that is reviewed well like the beef patties or pastries and not stray from those.
While visiting English Harbor in Antigua, I stopped into the quaint little Dockyard Bakery. I don't remember what I got, but the lady in the picture was so friendly, welcoming and frankly just a beautiful person that I took her pic with her permission to share with you. Her smile lit up my visit to English Harbor!
Lovely bakery, very friendly staff - the lady behind the counter brightened up our day. I recommend their burgers - they are really fresh and tasty and super good value
The staff were amazing here, and the bacon and egg sandwiches were en fuego
Fantastic little bakery with tasty products at good prices. Try their savoury pasties - chicken, beef or veggie. Some interesting twists on Danish rolls, too. The coconut slice is also one to try. Located in the old officers' kitchen of the historic Nelson's Dockyard.
