Tranquility Bay is a beautiful spot and most appropriate for total relaxation and de-stressing activities. The beach is wonderful. The scenery is from heaven. The restaurant on the beach is just great! The cove makes for great shots! The villas are very comfortable. It’s an heaven- made location for family activities and children of all ages will enjoy the amenities on offer. Visit soon!

What a place, relax on the white soft sand, great food at Castaways bar, but the moment you set foot on the beach, the locals will bug you to hire beds, umbrellas etc., but they are nice and not too pushy.

Lovely beach. Over priced sunbeds and umbrellas, take a towel. Not great toilet facilities (restrooms).👎

I've given it four stars rather than three because of its proximity to the sea, the yachting club and the general range of facilities not least of which are th beautiful grounds filled with hibiscus, banana plants, Bougainvillia, Azalea, palms and jasmine. The hummingbirds buzz in fascinating harmony with crickets, tree frogs and other tiny species of lizards and insects. I can't say l took very kindly to the laughing seagulls that were annoying when you're trying to relax, mocking the whole concept of tranquility. However this is NOT an exotic place. It was a bit like Benidorm in the Caribbean with a touch of Butlins bonhomie thrown in. I was there at the beginning of the season or th end of the previous lm not sure which.( Easter) The entertainment crew were jaded. I tried to lend a hand by populating th empty dance floor, doing Karaoke even though l couldn't read the screen and l was in the pool every morning for aqua aerobics and volleyball. The drinks were tacky, wine expensive and very limited. Beware of expecting good rum at the beach bar. There is lot going on around the rest of the island and l suggest you go find it. It's easy to become settled in one place like this, missing out on the essential Antigua, the real deal. It isn't here. This is what they think you want. Make sure you find a local friend to show you something different and hire a car you'll find you need it . Buses are limited, hot and crowded.
