Jolly Beach Resort & Spa

The Jolly Beach Hotel and Spa is an all inclusive and buzzing Hotel and Spa. Situated close to Jolly Harbour. Castaways and Jolly Castle directly on a long beach with water spots and other activities available. I really enjoy the "All you can eat" buffet meals (The food always wins), the wide and varied selections adds to the appeal. The large pool and swim-up bar is a good feature. The scenic gazebo overlooking the pool, beach and a spectacular scenic view is a setting for many destination weddings. The sunset seems golden in color and when the sandy Shoreline is transformed into that Golden color it is quite breathtaking. There are conference and event areas on site, the Hibiscus room being the most well known. The adjoining Restaurant really takes the events to a higher level. The hotel staff members are quite helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating and puts their guests at ease allowing for an enjoyable and well spent time. We had a great time and look forward to returning.

We absolutely loved our stay! My mom and I were there beginning of September. We're not fussy but we also don't settle for poor experiences. Just remember why you're going away: hot temperatures, sand and beaches, total relaxation and a change of scenery. Jolly Beach Resort has all of these things and more! First of all, the beach is AMAZING. Better than any beach I've ever seen and I've been to quite a few Caribbean islands. We even ventured to Dickinson's bay one day (where the Sandal's resort is) and Jolly beach is honestly much nicer. Jolly beach is paradise with its calm, jade-coloured waters and white powdery sand. The locals are so kind and genuine and happy to welcome you to their island. We had no issues with the food. Linda's Seafood Restaurant was delicious, we ate there 3 times. The Mexican a la carte was just okay. It has a nice decor, good for pictures, but food was meh. The Italian buffet was also quite good the head chef is actually from Italy. And anything from the main buffet was tasty too. The resort is older but well maintained and clean. We opted for a superior Queen room (no issues with AC). I highly recommend upgrading, avoid the supersaver -- it's tiny. We didn't hang around the pool too much but there was always some sort of activity going on and good music to jam to. The entertainment staff does an excellent job at keeping you entertained. From daytime activities to evening shows, there's always something to see and do. Just give this place a chance it's so lovely. And don't be one of those miserable tourists that complains about everything for no good reason. I never understood people who have nothing better to do on vacation but complain and fight with the staff. This is a beautiful place with lots of charm and good, hardworking people. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Fantastic holiday we renewed our wedding vows on our 25th anniversary at same time & date. Great place, great people. Its on the best beach on the island. I can't wait to go again but it's closed at the moment due to being up for sale 😭.

Overall, it is a beautiful island, but I would recommend not cheaping out and going for a higher-end resort. Take excursions with a good activity so that no matter what you still have fun. I would try to visit other destinations but if I had the opportunity, I would come back and experience the island with a better understanding of how to enjoy it more next time.
