    Avoid this place. Got ripped off buying an Unitel SIM card with 8GB data. They sell it for 120 000 KIP, official price is 55 000 KIP. A good lesson.

    DON'T GO THERE Paid double the price for a laotel sim card, she will rush you into paying so don't have time to check the official prices. Paid 100.000kip for a 50.000kip simcard with 7Gb of data. AVOID at all cost!

    Helpful, friendly, exceptionally competent service. I needed a local, Lao SIM for my phone. The sales person directed me to the appropriate SIM for what I wanted, 4G data only, and actually diagnosed and fixed a problem with my phone. When they couldn't use my phone to activate the SIM because of a Google Voice collision, they activated in a different phone, then transferred the SIM to my phone. The price was very reasonable,

    So i read the reviews, and was cautious, but i knew what i should be paying,as I wanted a top up only, and had a local SIM. I have added a price list photo for UNITEL( so you know what it costs). I showed the lady what i wanted (7days , 1500meg $10,000KIP), and she entered $150,000 KIP and showed me the calculator. SHE WANT TO CHARGE ME $150,000 KIP FOR $10,000 KIP CARD I said, i dont want the $150,000 KIP one, I want the $10,000 KIP one, and pulled out $10,000, and thats all it ended up costing me. She was hinting that she wanted $5,000KIP to help me put the credit in the phone.. i ignored her hints. People like this woman, clearly take advantage of other people I got the impression that this person wanted as much as she could from this transaction, if she could get away with it. FYI, A local sim card from UNITEL costs $10,000 KIP + whatever plan you choose
