    It is not possible for foreigners to apply for a tourist Visa in China. We've actually booked and prepared everything for literally nothing. That makes no sense for us. You have to be Lao to apply for Visa so don't even try...

    So convenient to have Chinese consulate here in Luang Prabang rather going to Vientiane. Service is good and as long you know the guidelines. It is smooth for processing visa. Knowing Mandarin is a plus too.

    Very rude people. No help for foreigners anyway. We have been there two times and at the second time we were just ignored and asked to leave... If you try to get your visa here, good luck... :(

    Due to unfortunate events the consultant is closed til the 24th of August and possibly until the end of the month.
