    Went for my last rabies shot. Very quick and efficient- friendliest hospital I’ve been to so far in south east Asia! Cost £10 :)

    Very caring staff and sufficient equipment to take care of most basic needs, but not up to international standards. Just the lack of cleanliness is a big risk.

    Dirty, badly staffed, unprofessional and uncompassionate. I’m spending here the worst days of my life and whenever I yell in pain, they just laugh.

    As far as 3rd world hospitals go, this one was quite good. My sister got a nasty gash in a road accident, and all the clinics in Luang Prabang were closed, so we had to come here. The nurse spoke excellent English, the doctors had been trained in Taiwan, and they got her all stitched up in 20 minutes. Total cost? $18 USD. I wouldn't want to get major surgery done here, but in an emergency, they seemed like they'd have the equipment to take care of stitches and broken limbs and the like.
