    I planned a getaway for my friend for her birthday at Plumeria. I asked for a beach view room and paid for full board at my reservation. However, when I reached the hotel I was given a ground floor room (not the room I got at the reservation) and had no view at all. And so I questioned about this and they said they were full and that this was the only “next best” available room for the time. And the room they booked during my reservation, was from the hotel next to the engine house and that it would be loud. Hence, I accepted with what they gave us. During the time of my reservation I was asked to check from the reception regarding my departure after I arrive. So after dinner on the day of arrival I went to reception and asked about my departure and the staff at the reception said that it had been delayed and it’s at 1500 hours next day and that I should check out latest by 1430 hours. As I had paid for full board next day morning I had breakfast from the buffet (food was awesome) When it was time for lunch and when we were just about to fill our plates from buffet, one wait staff came to us and said if we have lunch we have to pay for $20 per person for it. Then when we questioned him he said we paid for one day and that because we had lunch yesterday our one day has been used up. Fair enough answer however, we wouldn’t have stayed at the place if our departure time hadn’t been delayed. Hence, after lunch I went to reception to settle our checkout and told her about the what happened during lunch and she said that it’s their policy and that they have to charge us. I understand that it’s their policy but it wasn’t our problem that our departure time had been delayed to 1500 hours. We would have gone for another option if we knew before hand that we had to pay $20 for lunch. Maybe they should have a policy of complementary lunch if the departure time gets delayed and we had to stay past lunch hour at the hotel. Also I think they could have informed us day before when we went to ask about our departure time. I was there to celebrate my friends birthday (which they knew) and it was a surprise for us when the wait staff came to us just as we were about to fill our plates which was not very professional and unaccepted behavior from a big hotel. With this experience, i don’t think I would pick Plumeria as an option for my next trip.

    Fantastic trip to the Maldives. Destination Thinadoo, atoll of Vaavoo, an hour and a half away by fast boat from Malè. Plumeria resort, directly on the sea on the edge of dense vegetation. No language problems, Italian is understood by most of the staff. Meals are served buffet-style and are varied and international. The spacious and comfortable rooms. In the five days of stay we found ourselves at home. Friendly and helpful staff. We will certainly be back!

    Dream holiday! 😍🏝🍍🥥🇲🇻 I have just returned from a fantastic week of vacation at Plumeria Maldives. The island is very beautiful. The structure is surrounded by nature and the bikini beach can be reached with a relaxing walk through a jungle full of beautiful palm trees (10/15 min). The staff is always polite, smiling and helpful. The rooms are cleaned twice a day. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back! 👍🏼
