One of the best supermarket's in Weno Chuuk. They even have a healthy food section.
One of the two large supermarkets in Chuuk. It is run by the Hashiguchi family of Japanese descent. Originally, Shigeto was opened after the war by Shigeto, the son of Shigeru Hashiguchi, who had been operating a store in Natsushima during the war. It is currently run by Shiget's sons. There is a large selection of Japanese products, and prices are often not high. Almost everything including sweets, juices, frozen foods, meat, and seasonings are available here. Also sells daily necessities. The mountain of old clothes sometimes comes in unexpectedly, and you can come across a well-designed American T-shirt. Credit cards are not accepted. There is a snack bar for light meals. Popular is ice cream. $ 1 for 2 scoops.
