    We stayed here 2 years ago and had the best time. We hope to come back soon. The best mix of jungle and beach. Very close to many restaurants and things to do. A/C in the bedrooms and hot water were the cherry on top. There is no better place to relax and unwind.

    We loved our stay at Casa de la Musa. What a great place. We´re a family of five and the house was spacious for us (we easily slept 5 of us in two bedrooms). The beach was 50 yards from the house, great for daily outings to the beach. The AC (in the bedrooms) was a life-saver for us. It was a perfect combination of open-air living and AC comfort. The screened-in porch was perfect. Puerto Viejo and other shops (supermarcados) were minutes away in the car. Our favorite shops were the Duende and the Super Cocles (large grocery store). There´s a small convenience shop 5-minute walk from the house, at the end of the driveway, that we went to on nightly basis with kids for ice cream (about $1.00 for an ice cream cone). Wild-life viewing was surprising (we were visited by monkeys and a sloth, who came down and sat in the driveway). There is a washer dryer in the house and we were able to do laundry pretty much whenever we wanted. The property manager) was available 24-7 and was very responsive. The care-takers were wonderful. If we ever had questions about anything, they were there to provide great information, recommendations, and assistance.

    I love the place. Casa de la muse has everything to spend the best holidays in paradise, it is comfortable, spacious and very clean. There you feel the tranquility of nature, due to the variety of trees and vegetation, little animals that live in that area such as guatuzas, monkeys, sloths, and birds come, the beach is beautiful and the sea is very calm. There are also shops nearby.
