I am about to begin my fourth season with Eñe Spanish Teachers, with Matías as my teacher and coach. At 76 I am living proof that you " can teach an old dog new tricks." I feel quite confident now in most conversations, but as a perfectionist I am working on improving my grammar and pronunciation. I highly recommend these personalized classes.
I had the pleasure of taking a two month Spanish immersion course with Matias Llaituqueo and I highly recommend his program to any visitors to Puerto Viejo or anywhere in the Limon area who are looking for Spanish lessons. He is thorough and keeps the instruction interesting by introducing books and movies that expand your language. He also knows the area intimately so side trips also provide opportunities for expanded conversations. I wanted to both learn to speak and read & write Spanish so my lessons were extensive and the workbooks Matias created were excellent. I can't say enough exemplary thing about ENE Spanish Teachers!
(English below) I loved learning Spanish with Matías. He is a very good teacher who knows how to adapt to his students. He is kind, interesting, educated and very funny! What better way to learn than having fun? Not only did I learn enough Spanish to be able to survive, but I also learned a lot about the culture and history of South America. We have had very interesting talks on various topics and I love his open mind and curiosity. And your patience for my many questions too! Now I can say that I start to get an idea of the language and I love this! Thank you very much for everything Matías!
