Dye to covid most banks have long lines. And they are uncovered. Scotia line is under a covered gallery. Lol.
Not fast service but they are meticulous with their execution.
Charges you fees for no valid reason! Such as charging you late fees when you have authorization for them to deduct monthly payments and there is sufficient funds to allow deductions. Also makes ridiculous charges without notifying you!
I have not been impressed with the service of this bank. In June 2019 I visited St. Vincent and the Grenadines and on June 28 one day before my mother's funeral I attempted to pull funds from my Simplii account using Scotia's ATM machine located in Kingstown, I needed the funds to contribute towards my mother's burial. The machine issued me a receipt and I could hear it counting the money but no money came out, instead a message came up stating that the funds had been retracted. I waited and no money came out. I stayed in line while my sister went into the bank to get a bank representative. She came out and took us into the bank, I waited for another person to talk to me and then was later sent up to their offices to speak with someone else. After repeating the story 3 times, I was told that I had to contact my bank here in Canada as Scotia would have to wait to reconcile the ATM machine at the end of the day. I immediately contacted my bank while still in the Scotia Bank branch in St. Vincent. I returned to Canada on July 2nd and my bank started an investigation and as of yesterday, September 5, there has been no response from the Scotia Bank in St. Vincent. I know we do everything on 'island time' but right now I am embarrassed to be a Vincentian based on the lack of response from this branch. I have tried reaching them by phone and each time I receive a message stating that the number has not been assigned. OMG Wake Up St. Vincent, this is 2019!
For Me The ATM services are reliable, Anytime-Anyday
