One of the most beautiful church on the Seychelles island ever built by its faithful parishioners in my home town Baie Lazare. Every weekend I went for service in this church...
Had the opportunity to witness the children's choir practice & it was so well prepared
Was there last Sunday at 8:00. Same procedure like at home, the singers do a great job!
Positioned on a beautiful hill with large trees, the Catholic church of San Francesco d'Assisi stands out for its height and its bare and slightly chastened facade. Built in 1953, inside it has discreet decorations, a frescoed wall and some paintings, the ceiling is soberly white, everything is very simple, almost minimal; nevertheless, the church retains a very special mystical atmosphere, and is certainly a point of reference for the small community of Baie Lazare.
