The Distillery was great. We did the guided tour and rum tasting and had a great time. The garden is beautiful and they have two friendly turtles there. We liked the white rum best and bought a bottle, which is already almost empty :-)
We were on the free guided tour, which are available from Monday to Friday at 11:00, 13:00, 15:00. Rum tastings are available at SCR 100 per person. I would like really to recommend this tour as you will get familiar with the history of that place, production from the beginning to the bottled rum and also the future plans.
Very beautiful nature park, well maintained. Birds, fruit bats, friendly staff, like everyone else in Seychelles. Super
the tour and the entire premises were well-kept and well-organized. Unfortunately this is really a tourist trap and prices here are significantly higher than what you pay for a bottle in a local store... that is really a shame.
Super place for a drink. You can also get a free tour but I did not use that option. Just sit and relax in the garden and tell the bartender what tastes do you like. He will make you a drink worth remembering!
