    Monument to those who fell in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 and in other battles for the Motherland. Until 2014, it was called the "Eternal Flame" and was located in the center of Ashgabat, dismantled as part of the reconstruction of the park zone. The new monument is significantly different from the previous one, instead of four 27-meter stelae embodying an opening flower, five stelae of a different shape and with a base in the form of an eight-pointed star were built. The dismantled monument was opened in 1970 in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Victory and for a long time was one of the most significant buildings in Ashgabat!
